The GP gas fire range named a Winner

The international ICONIC AWARDS: Innovative Interior design competition, organised by the German Design Council, honours the best performers in all areas of interior design.

By virtue of a series of innovations, a Kalfire GP gas fire offers an experience of unparalleled authenticity. The patented Natural Spark Generator emits real sparks that escape from the fire and burn out slowly, resulting in an amazingly realistic simulation of a wood fire. Additionally, interior burners hidden within the ceramic logs allow the flames to rise directly from the logs, while integrated LED lighting in the fire bed glows to give the effect of natural embers. The GP range is extremely energy efficient (Class A) and produces heat with zero fine particle emissions. The fires can be operated by remote control or via an app on the user’s device.

These state-of-the-art features convinced the international jury of the Iconic Awards to label the Kalfire GP a ‘Winner’ in the category ‘Building fixtures and interior design’.

The awards ceremony was held on 13 January 2019 at Cologne’s Kölnischer Kunstverein art museum, where all the winning products will be presented during the IMM international furniture and interiors show.
